2013 – The beginning
FlexEnergy is founded with a clear vision: to bring flexibility and digitalization to the Swiss energy sector and beyond. The goal is to build software solutions that place data and people at the center.

2015 – The first major partnership
The collaboration with Società Elettrica Sopracenerina (SES) begins.
We develop the first adapters for Echelon/NES and Landis+Gyr smart meters and integrate directly into the company’s middleware.

2017 – Innovation becomes a product
SES chooses EnergyDynamics and relaunches it as SES CashLine+. Pure white label. The first e-commerce platform in Switzerland for purchasing electricity in prepaid mode.
EnergyDynamics proves its ability to generate concrete commercial value: customers can monitor consumption and manage payments in real time.

2019 – Towards new horizons
After two years of study and development, we transform a legacy software system into a flexible microservices architecture. The first microservices are already active, with smart reading and API gateways.
The EnergyDynamics platform evolves to communicate with a growing number of systems and formats. Large-scale interoperability becomes our hallmark.
2021 – Expertise and scalability
We continue supporting SES in its technological evolution:
• Adaptation to the new Landis+Gyr meters
• Data recovery projects in the absence of an MDM
• Integration with the LPEx format when the MDM is introduced
At the same time, we begin looking toward new regional opportunities.
2022 – Expansion into the Moesano
We begin our collaboration with AEMo (Aziende Elettriche del Moesano).
A relationship that grows year after year, bringing tailored solutions to the valleys of Graubünden.

2023 – Solutions for energy communities
We become an STS Token Partner.
We develop new prepaid features and begin designing modules dedicated to energy communities.
The platform prepares to face the challenges of the energy transition: decentralization, active user engagement, and collective energy management.
2025 – Delivered projects, tangible value
EnergyDynamics 2.9 is launched, and three new projects are successfully completed:
All projects have been delivered and put into operation, with customers fully operational and satisfied. The platform gains new functionalities: energy management, consumption optimization, and modules for active user engagement.

2026 – New challenges, new projects
The journey continues. Several projects are currently in active development:
• New implementations for utilities in Ticino and Graubünden
• Development of advanced modules for Local Energy Communities (LECs)
• Enhancement of integrations with next-generation smart metering systems
• Expansion of prepaid and consumption monitoring functionalities
